Keen Kiwi Blokes – Exterior Washing Services

Welcome to Keen Kiwi Blokes! Before we begin any house, deck, driveway, or exterior property washing services, please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By booking a service with us, you acknowledge and accept the following:

1. Client Responsibilities Prior to Washing

To ensure a safe and effective wash, we kindly ask all clients to:

Close all windows and doors tightly to prevent water from entering the home.
Remove any fragile items (e.g., pot plants, outdoor furniture, decorations, electronics) from the areas to be washed.
Notify us in advance of any areas that are not sealed properly, such as damaged weatherboards, unsealed cladding, faulty window flashings, or known leaks.
Identify delicate surfaces or coatings that may be affected by water pressure or cleaning products.
Advise if any external electrical fittings, lights, or power outlets are not waterproof or are in disrepair.
Keep children and pets away from the work area during the service.

Failure to follow these preparations may result in property damage or suboptimal cleaning results. Keen Kiwi Blokes will not be held liable for damages caused due to inadequate client preparation.

2. Service Limitations and Liability

Keen Kiwi Blokes provides exterior washing services using professional-grade equipment and where required eco-conscious products. While all care is taken, our services are provided on the understanding that we rely on the client to disclose any potential risks or vulnerabilities in building materials or finishes.

We are not liable for pre-existing damage, water ingress through unsealed areas, or deterioration caused by previously faulty building materials or workmanship.

For insurance purposes, we may lodge a claim on your behalf in the event of an incident. However, if the issue results from non-disclosure or failure to prepare your property appropriately, costs may be passed on to the client.

3. Scope of Work

Our services are limited to general exterior washing unless otherwise stated.
Any stubborn stains, oxidation, or deep-set grime may not be fully removed, depending on the condition of the surface.
Roofs, delicate heritage features, or high-risk zones may be excluded or require specialist services.

4. Payment Terms

All jobs are quoted excluding GST unless stated otherwise.
Payment is due within 7 days of service completion unless otherwise agreed.
Late payment may incur interest charges and collection fees.

5. Cancellations & Access

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
If access to the property is not available at the scheduled time, a call-out fee may apply.

6. Reporting Issues

If you believe damage has occurred as a result of our work, please notify us within 48 hours of service completion. We will inspect and, if necessary, escalate the matter through our insurer for review.

7. Final Note

Keen Kiwi Blokes aims to deliver every job to the highest standard. We value transparency and ask all clients to share as much information as possible before we begin. Together, we can ensure the safety and integrity of your property.
